Title: Tagging Errors

I added a "Composer" pane in the field, but now I get a tagging error message. How do I go about correcting this?

I don't believe adding any new column such as Composer into a pane view will cause a tagging error.

Can you be more specific regarding the error?

What file type, and do you have Edit > Update Tags When File Info Changes set?

Is the file writable?

I figured out the cause of the "Tagging Error" message. It wasn't the software it was my computer. My old laptop couldn't supply enough power to run my external drive and the drive disconnected. The solution was to get a powered USB hub extender and problem solved. thanks for taking the time to answer.
