Title: Are tags working in the latest MJ8?

I update the properties of my mp3 and the fields are available and shown in MJ, but in the "My Music" XP folder, the update does not appear, i.e. when I assign an artist, the artist is not shown in the XP My Music explorer-like view.  Makes me wonder if the tag is written to the file or not.

Any ideas?

Thanks Jim, but where in the program are you seeing these options??:

ID3v1 mode set to 'save (create if necessary)'
ID3v2 mode set to 'save (create if necessary)'
ID3v2 tag analysis enabled

I only have "Update files when info changes" under importing ant agging under setting/options/general.  I used to see the ID3VX option refferred to above in prior versions.

Please advise.
