Title: Two hit wonders: possible?
Post by: MarkCoutinho on January 13, 2012, 01:53:55 pm
I've made an almost fully automated One Hit Wonder smartlist (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=68129.0), but now I want to make a Two Hit Wonder smartlist as well, to use it in a popquiz.
Is this possible?

The only thing I can conjecture up is to make a view on Artist
Sort this by number of files.
Gives you a range of all artist with 2 songs.
Make a custom tag NHits
Populate this with the number 2
Use this as a modifier in the smart list

Thanks, Vincent.
However: the field 'Number of files' does not exist, as far as I can see. 'Number of tracks' does, but that one is empty for all the records so I can sort on that.

Or am I getting it wrong?

If I right click on the tab in the pane with the Artist there is an menu with Sort By and this menu allows for sorting by N of files

Thanks again, Vincent. But I think I did do just that.
I've made a screendump of that to make things more clear:

So you see I do not have 'Number of files' in the field list.
Or do you mean something else?

The discussion/conversation between Vincent and me is being continued by private mail. I will post the outcome of it.

In the meantime: if anyone else has a brilliant idea which would solve my 'problem': feel free to join in!
