Title: Only you can prevent French Winnie the Pooh
Post by: greg.smalter on January 14, 2012, 09:00:46 pm
I'm using MC with AnyDVD to play blu ray discs (I am not ripping them, just playing them from the optical drive). Usually I insert the disc and it plays the movie. Perfect. For Winnie the Pooh, it played the movie, but it turned out the be the French version. Worse, it's really hard to tell what version you are playing because even in the French version all of the audio is in English, so you have to find a part that shows text (like the title) to even tell what version you are playing when trying all of the different streams.

This situation would be even more difficult for a movie like Crouching Tiger, where it might not be clear to a viewer what the viewing experience was supposed to be in the first place.

I know there is no Blu Ray Title support yet, but is there any way to mitigate the above problem? Thanks.
