Title: Kernel Streaming vs WASAPI

I have an M2tech Young DAC. This manufacturer recommends using kernel streaming using the Steve Monks Output Patch for the Windows vista or 7 OS.  Does anyone have any recommendations as to which of these two configurations is better?
