What is the fastest way to update the my server IP address on your Gizmo server? Frequently i try to connect and it still has an old IP address behind the key. After which it tries to connect to my router which obviously doen't work.

What is the fastest way to update the my server IP address on your Gizmo server? Frequently i try to connect and it still has an old IP address behind the key. After which it tries to connect to my router which obviously doen't work.
In MC, options->Media Network->Access Key->Test Connection to this Server will force an update.
The Automatic update interval will be getting shorter soon...

Ok. Tnx Bob. I use a tunnel to access the net. So i get another IP regularly. And it's a person if you go and discover you forgot to exit/restart MC when you try to use Gizmo.... Ever tried to remote control your pc from a smartphone? By the time you managed to reset MC fiddling with it you seriously lost interest ;D

In recent versions, MC17 should now update the IP once per hour, maybe that'll make your life easier. :)

Great. Tnx. That'll be good enough. It doesn't change IP that fast. Pity though that Gizmo's latest update holds the old IP in memory. Maybe adding a toggle to Gizmo to opt out of that?
In any case i guess i'll write a little app that pushes the Test connection button in Mediacenter for me, icon on desktop and i can easily reset it from my mobile i remote access.
