Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. Been using MC for quite a while and love it. Recently put Gizmo on Samsung Epic 4G touch. I can hook up through my internal network and all works great. When I connect with 4g I can run a movie no problem, a blu ray file for that matter, but when I try a music file all my art is there from the library, however when I try to play the file it says its preparing and goes to the next track through the whole album preparing and then to resume play, and it won't respond. HELP!

Welcome to the forum.
Try playing the music file on the PC. It will be converted to MP3 when you stream. Make sure you can encode to MP3 on the PC.
On the phone, try playing an MP3 (without Gizmo).

Thanks for the response. I can do all of those. If I use wifi connection on phone, I have no problems.Everything works fine. On 3 or 4G the library loads up fine, I can stream video. I just streamed Cowboys and Aliens which is on my computer as a bluray! But audio files just go from track to track and it says preparing forever, then it will switch to resume play screen and nothing happens. I'm baffled.

Any thoughts?

What are the original files? FLAC, APE, ... ?
On the PC, can you convert them to MP3?
Make sure you have the latest MC17 and the latest Gizmo.
By this:

Do you mean music works OK over wifi, but not over a cell connection?

yes over wifi it works. They are all wav files converting to mp3. Which in itself seems troubling, but, it will stream Cowboys and Aliens to the phone over data and that is on the pc as a blu ray ? Much larger than a wav file.

Well I had a good strong signal on my cell yesterday away from home and Gizmo worked like a charm. Thanks for your input.
