Title: Active X Error - PLEASE HELP!!!
Post by: Dallas on May 13, 2002, 05:19:43 pm
I am running Media Jukebox on Windows 2000.  When running a track info page with Active X, I get the following error;

"An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts of this page. Do you want to allow this interaction?"

Not too bad, but it comes up for EVERY SINGLE SONG!  How do I make this stop???

Try using a different visualization.  MJ Help may help.

I could do that, but I want to use this particular one.  It is my understanding that this problem does not affect all users, so it must be something that can be turned off/fixed.

I have already searched the help files.

It appears to be something to do with the internal impementation of Internet Explorer in the program...

Check your security settings in IE.  You might have it set to "Promt on Unsafe\Unsigned ActiveX Controls".  Just a thought...

Dallas,

This problem will be fixed in next build of Media Jukebox.
