Title: help! chinese album & song titles doesn't work anymore

my media center 16 used to display album and song title in chinese fine.
just found that it turned now into lots of square.
not sure if i had done somthing wrong by accident.
anyone know how to get it back?

got it!
had to go to 'control panel' and add 'system locale', 'display language' chinese in the windows.
interesting, somehow it didn't seem to need this, but it works...

do you have any screenshot can emil me, I still have problem with the Chinese display in WIN7.  I am trying the MC 17.  thanks

This is due to a bug in windows, I think. I had the same problem. Short term solution seem to be to go to

C:\Windows\System32

and delete the FNTCACHE.DAT file, reboot.

This seems to fix the problem until windows updates itself, after which the problem returns and I have to delete the file again.
