Title: Cover Art For Recorded TV .jtv Files
Post by: nwboater on January 28, 2012, 05:10:01 pm
For some reason none of my .jtv files have acquired Cover Art. I have run 'Fill Properties From Filenames' and done additional 'Run Import Now' and  no cover art for them. Almost all my ripped DVD's have it. Also almost all the .ts files that I imported from Sage have it. I think some from Sage had it before import, but not all.

Does MC17 not get Cover Art for .jtv files?

Thanks,
Rod

Yes, jtv files should have cover art too.  Try Cover Art > Rebuild Thumbnail.

Hi Yaobing,

Thanks for getting right back to me.

Just tried it for several movies and no joy. They still show the same video clip from TV - some have a channel number or information. They are all very different than what the covers look like for all my DVDs and .ts files.

Sorry, I misunderstood.

You want cover art, but not image captured from the video itself.

Exactly. The image captured from the video sometimes relates to the movie, sometimes it relates to the show that is just ending, but it never shows the information that the true Cover Art shows.

Is there a way to have MC do it? As I said it seems to work fine for .ts files

Thanks,
Rod
