Title: getting a pop when pressing the play button

getting a pop when pressing the play button it only happens when using the optical out put for any computer need help the pop is getting annoying. using Toshiba laptop satellite a305-s6898 to a PS audio dac 3. have lowered the bit rite and still happens. another question what is error 2.

No.  But try some of the settings.  This, for instance:

Present 24-bit data in a 32-bit package

Does PS Audio offer instructions?
