Hello All,
I have MP17 setup and music ripped in FLAC.
I have managed to get output working in Direct, Wasapi, Wasapi Event without issue, but am getting no sound on ASIO.
I am outputting to an Audiolab 8200CD via USB2. The 8200 is setup as the primary sound device in Vista, and I have downloaded and installed ASIO4ALL.
I basically get no sound.
The ASIO4all diagnostic utility says "ASIO Start/return value -1 (Should be 0)"
"Pluggin return value-1 (Should be 0)"
I then get a MP warning saying that playback could not be started on the output ASIO. (its mentioning something aboout 44.1Khz 64Bit which is confusing)
TBH this is where I'm a bit of a noob and am getting confused. Any pointers much appreciated.
Loving the software by the way, playback sounds stunning in Wasapi, just want to get ASIO working as well!

Welcome.
WASAPI is best in your case (event style if it works). ASIO4All is not recommended.
