NY40Male,
1) is there a way to have the playing now clear on the restart?
I don't think that there is a way to set it up to clear automatically but if you right-click "Playing Now" in the left pane, an option drops down to "Clear Playing Now".
2) when you download track info is there a way to delete them after you find out you dont like them?
I assume you're talking about the feature that stores CDDB information so it doesn't do a lookup if that CD has already been CDDB'd. You can delete one of those by expanding "Media Library" and then "CD & DVD" and then (here's the tricky part) finding which CD it is, right-click & delete. You can find out which one it is by left-clicking each one and reading the contents. That's a P.I.A. if you have a bunch but they are more or less in chronological order. Some of the newer CD's have "drive" names so those are easy. A major drawback is that on the numbered CD's, there are two CD's worth of songs so if you want half of the list to stay, you have to re-read that one.
Hope that helps.

Windows Explorer > JRiver > Visualizations > Track Info. Delete at will. MJ must re-start for changes to take effect.
