If my understanding is correct, a locked playlist should NOT allow changes. Unfortunately, you can add files to any playlist. The feature does work for deletions. Before a file can be removed, the playlist must be unlocked. This bug is true for v17.0.82.
-
Drag-n-drop is disabled for me when the playlist is locked.
How are you adding files to the playlist?
Thanks.

How are you adding files to the playlist?
you can do that with right click -> send to ->"playlist" , but please don't change that, since you don't do it by coincidence..
much better to include "undo" for playlists

The feature should be changed. If the playlist is supposed to be locked, it should be locked. Yes, I could add files by using the "Send to" feature and did so by mistake. That's how I found out about the bug.

In a coming build:
Fixed: It was possible to use Send To to add tracks to a locked playlist.
-
Thanks, I think that's great.
May I make another suggestion?
I like to display my playlists with specific headings which is, of course, easy to do (using a customized headings set) but unfortunately, MC resets the headings to the default when I switch to the next playlist. Consequently, I have to redo the headings for each playlist I look at. The settings for displays needs to be persistent and if you set columns to "autosize", this setting should be persistent as well.

The LOCKED feature for playlist is still not completely fixed because you can still sort the playlist when it's locked.

Sorting doesn't make any changes to the underlying playlist.
You can always resort by sequence.
-
To the right of the sequence number is blank column, can you tell me how to get rid of it. There is no name for the column.
-
Right-click the column header. You'll see the item as the first in the list under the horizontal line.
You'll see the name of the column. You can un-check to remove a column.

Thanks!!!
