Title: Drag'n' drop from a view to Playing Now works only a few times (MC 16 & 17)
Post by: Bobo4567 on February 07, 2012, 04:20:39 pm
Hi out there!

MC 16 and 17 (both newest versions on a WIN 7 / 32 bit // ) are set up with a split view and two zones. When MC is started new I can easily pick audio files and drag them to the playing now zones. In Playing Now I can change the order of the files in the playlist and also drag them to the other zone. While doing this the cursor is a bigger black line an points between the titles.

But after a few times of moving the behavior changes: The cursor is light blue (Skin: Noire) and drag'n' drop does not work, neither changing the order of the files. Restart of MC

Bug or feature  ;) Any ideas?

Thanx for the help!
Markus

I couldn't reproduce this.

Can you figure out what triggers it to stop working?

Anyone else?

Thanks.

Sorry - the effect occurs occasionally but multiple a day and it's not reproducible.
I tried a lot of things the last hour and found out that when it happens
- only the left mouse button was involved (no keyboard used, no right click, no double click or both mouse buttons)
- it turns MC into a state where only a restart brings back the functionality of drag'n'drop / change order of tracks in playing now

One idea: I pick music from a view that shows a Playlist Group ('Allow tree selection' is checked / on; 'Filter in both directions' and 'Lock view' are both off)

Theres nothing special running on the laptop: Firefox, Avast Antivirus

Strange ...
