Title: how to re add movies

I deleted a library view in MC 17 and it took some movies right out of the Media Center. I try to re add them but it says "skipped files previously deleted. I know the actual movies are still on the hard drive but I can't get them back in to MC 17. Can someone tell me how to get them back in.

No harm done.  The view is what selects what should be displayed.  The files are still in MC's database (and as you've noted, on your HD).

All you have to do is create a new view that selects the files you want displayed.  Perhaps now is a good time to point you to a good customizing views tutorial:

Thank you for the link. I've been using the trial version for 5 days and tonight decided to purchase it and the first thing I do after purchase is screw something up.  ;D

Most of us create our own views rather than use the stock views.  It is easy enough to help you recreate the missing view.  I presume this one is a Video view.  Which Video views do you still have remaining?
