Installed Media Jukebox v7. Insert audio cd and get a message, "Select file(s) to play". Same message when trying to play from device mgr. of MJ.
Upgraded to Beta v8, but problem persists.
Auto insertion is enabled.
Tried with and without digital playback.
CD-rom is functioning, because data CD's are accessible when entered.

Click on the CD drive, then press play. Help in MJ may be of use.

JimH.
Already tried that. Dead in the water. Thanks for the response just the same.
-
If auto insert is enabled, is something else trying to play the CD?
Can Windows Media Player play CD's on this drive?
Is it a burned CD or a manufactured CD?
-
I'm not sure if there is a device player conflict.
Any attempts to play a CD default to MJ (even after uninstalling)
Cannot play CD's from Windows Media Player.
CD's used are originals and not burned.

See if you can get WMP to work first. Most players have a setting that allows you to tell the player to always "own" a file type, or in this case the CD's.
Check Windows help or Microsoft web pages about "file associations".
