Title: Playing WTV From Remote Library

I'm having a strange problem playing .wtv files.  The files play fine from a local library, but if I load a library hosted on a remote media server, the same files will not play on the client. The files are not encrypted or copy-restricted.  Just regular OTA recordings.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I'd appreciate any insight into what might be going on.
