Title: MC tags are no longer in MP3 file properties

HI,

since a few weeks the tag information is no longer added in the mp3 file properties in windows explorer.
can somebody help to get the required setting as before? i can't find the solution in de wiki help.

Assuming you have not disabled tag writing completely by unchecking the Options > General > Update tags when file info changes option, you may be experiencing a tag format issue.

Windows 7 Explorer is completely incompatible with the ID3v2.4 tag format and it can destroy all TXXX frames in MP3 ID3v2.3 files. MC uses the so called TXXX frames for many library fields including all user fields.
