We're close now on 8.0.  It's not possible to say when.  Any opinions?

After MJ 8.0 GOLD release... Take a month off & relax.  You guys deserve it.

Then... On to MJ 9.0!!

I would say make an unbelievable smooth megaskin to be the default and release it.

All looking good, minor bugs can be fixed after release

I agree with BennyD, make a really sweet megaskin, then just let the money roll in.  Make sure MusicMatch goes out of business.

>> Make sure MusicMatch goes out of business
i don't think that is likely..

what i do think is that they are selling there lifetime upgrade offer will change when they change the name of the program, and since they will rework the program and call it a new name they will no longer honer the lifetime upgrade since the program at that point will be at the end of it's life.

just my feeling

Maybe after killing the crashing Plug-In manager bug.

Machinehead,
Our bug or MusicMatch's?

Yours. Have posted it twice in the Beta thread. Last two versions giving me **** when selecting an encoder. Was able to get the mpeg plus encoder installed by letting it overwrite the encoder that had been previously installed. However it still crashes the machine if I select it from the manager window.

Machinehead,
I don't see this on WinXP Home.  Can you start a separate thread on this problem?  You could copy and paste whatever you've said before.  Please include system info.

You may have a "special" problem.  Try uninstalling and reinstalling and make sure you have the right version (help/about).

They should be listed in the Beta threads - .267 and .270. The version I have now is the latest. Already posted system info there also.

Curious. If I uninstall and re-install is that gonna kill one of my renews?

All restores will be restored before release.  You can do it every night if you want.

Please start a thread on the problem.

Once responses to builds dip below 30, it seems like you're good as golden.
