Title: Newbie Question: Images
Post by: mav52 on February 18, 2012, 02:33:28 pm
I must have missed the instructions somewhere, but how do I prevent JRiver Media 17 from changing the image viewing defaults for my photos in Windows 7.  I want to use Photoshop CS5 for all images, including RAW, niff tiff jpg along with Nikon NX2 software . I can access Default Programs in windows 7 and change the permissions back to Photoshop, but each time I click on JRiver on my desktop it starts loading defaults and changes the viewing of images back to J River Media Center. Where in Media Center do I stop this.. I really only use Media Center for music.

Tools > Options > File Types > On the Right Scroll Down to Image & highlight all image file types and un-tick the file association box > Ok

Should to the trick

Edit no need to highlight all file types just select Image at the top of the list
