Title: how do i convert?

i can't get my files to convert to wave files from mp3s on a disk

why would you want to convert from a mp3 to a wave file?

If you have mp3 on a cd,you have first to import them in MJ.After that you have to copy them somewere on your hard drive.Now you are ready to do what you want with yours mp3

We should go easier on those that are posting with questions. not all the world is as 'puter savy as everyone else. besides there a LLOOTT of freeware programs out there that can do stuff (editing for instance) with WAV files but not MP3.  unless something drastic has changed, this is the ONLY area that MJ can't help me in. A lot of stuff in MJ that those of us have grown with them through may not be nearly as evident to the newcomers.
let's not disenchant people by making them feel their questions are "Stupid". I had plenty when i first started with this program.
