Title: help with turning on Hardware Accelaration

I have been Googling all day and cant find where to turn on Hardware Acceleration in my Nvidia 9500 Gt Graphics card.

I want to re try ROHQ to stop panning judder with my movies.

I am not sure if my computer is fast enough but as I am having a hard time trying to set the display settings I thought I would try ROHQ again.

Judder is usually caused by refresh rate discrepancies. Enable Videoclock to help with these problems (you will have to disable bitstreaming). As for enabling HA, there is a setting under the MC video options (you shouldn't have to mess around with your video card's control panel).

Video clock is on, bitstreaming is disabled.HA enabled.

Still get panning jitter

Then you've done all you can. If your TV has a motion compensation setting, you might try turning it on.

You also have to have (under Tools --> Options --> Video --> Display Settings), "Enabled Automatic Display Settings changing" checked & the correct settings that are supported by your Video Card / TV (and potentially Receiver).  The aim is to match the refresh rate with the FPS of the content as best you can then Video Clock will smooth out the rest.  I use:
* Film (both 23.97 & 24fps): 1920x1080x32x24
* NTSC (29.97/59.94fps)): 1920x1080x32x60
* PAL (25/50 fps): 1920x1080x32x50

If your equipment will not do 24hz then you will have to set it to 60hz and live with the judder.

I have Enabled Automatic Display Settings changing
Video card can be either 24 or 60 which is best?
TV is Toshiba Regza 37RV635D and I think is 60hz

24hz is best for 24fps stuff and 60hz for 60fps if you want to avoid judder caused when their is a mismatch between the two.

so if I set the card at 24hz  then set the displays to

As a side note, I've found that 3:2 pulldown (24fps displayed at 60fps) helps to eliminate certain judder artifacts on 24fps content.

I'd let your eyes be the guide.
