Bonjour,
When I synchronise MC16 with handheld (USB key), the flac files in MC16 are not converted to MP3. They stay in flac format. In synchronisation options, encoder MP3 is oK.
Merci pour votre soutien
Cordialement.

You would need to have the HandHeld conversion Mode set to "Always Convert" or "Convert Unsupported". (Options > HandHeld > Audio > Mode...)
To make "Convert Unsupported" work correctly, you must define the supported formats. For example, if you want to just copy MP3 and M4A and convert all other formats you would need to type mp3;m4a in the Supported Types box. (Options > HandHeld > Files, Paths, & More > Supported Types...)
I attached a few screenshots that may help.

Bonjour,
One more problem: on another computer with windows 7, encoder MP3 for handheld doesn't work. The file statut stay in queue. Others encoders work ok.
On my first PC windows XP all is ok for encoding flac to MP3 on the handheld.
I've put in the same parameters on the 2 PC.
Merci.

What happens if you right click on a FLAC file and use "Convert"?

Bonjour,
Convert MP3 doesn't work.
I download MC17 and all is ok.
Is-it necessary to pay or is-it included in MC16 update?
If I have to pay it's not a problem.
Merci

Both MC16 and MC17 include MP3 encoding. I don't know why it isn't working for you with MC16.
