Title: Installing MC17 in Windows 7

I am new to using forum's.  I have installed MC17 and it was a little unstable.  I ran a trouble shoot and it says that the operating systems is not correct.  I uninstall and reinstall and I get the same issue with the same response on the trouble shooting.   I can I be sure that I can get the correct download that uses Windows 7.

MC fully supports Windows 7 (that's what they use to develop and test it).

You shouldn't be getting that error.  Are you manually running the "Check Compatibility" tool?

What kind of instability are you seeing?  Does it go away if you install a build a few builds old?
