in audio streams jriver is displaying for ex. this information:
dts-hd ma, 48000Hz 5.1, 1536 kb/s
usually DTS-MA doesn't have much higher bitrates?
could somebody explain?

DTS-HD MA has a variable bitrate, so a single bitrate is impossible to determine. MC detects the core bitrate and displays that. Not my favourite thing either, bu apparently if it says 48000 Hz, it's decoding the lossless DTS-HD MA. Also, there's no plain DTS 7.1, so if you see 7.1 being decoded, you know you have lossless.
You're not the first to ask these questions, so searching the forum may have helped you.

Are you using the HDMI output from the video card, or are you using the digital output of your sound card, or are you using a USB DAC?

My PC output is a dac (fireface 800)
