To be easier to explain my problem.
Merci

Copy your image to one of the free hosting sites (like Photobucket). Then copy the URL/path for the image (in PhotoBucket you just "click" in a box under/adjacent the image to copy the path), then paste that path into your post.

Difficult to me to understand your quick technical english.
When I click on an image, i want to see a window who tell me to use the file as cover art.
On MC16 it works for audio or video cover art.
Manage links has been correctly made.
Merci

Well, are you talking about cover art in JRiver or posting pictures at Interact? If you are posting pictures, you must do as CountryBumkin said: upload your saved image to some image hosting site (google finds good services, like http://imgur.com/)
If you are talking about how to get coverart in JRiver, try to save the image you want to use to the same directory (and same name) as the your files. Then rightclick in JRiver your album/movie and navigate to "cover art" and press "quick find in file/cover art directory"... Then it should appear... Or you can get cover art via internet or by clicking "cover art"->"add from file"...

Actually, if you are referring to inserting an image in a post here on the forum, it is much simpler to click on "Additional Options" below the box where you are typing and select 'attachment'. Browse to your file and it appears here in the forum.

I believe msalum is not comfortable with reading/writing English, and wants to insert screenshots to explain a problem, and that this thread should explain how.
BTW, I do not get any "attachment" when clicking Additional options, only

I have tried to upload to a sharing site like photobucket earlier, and post the URL. On click I was then transferred to an external window cluttered with ads. I have seen some users here inserting thumbs that expand on click. Neat trick and much better than a new window with ads, but could anyone explain how to do that?

You really don't have the option to "attach" as shown in this screenshot?

only members of the beta team have the attachment option, just one of the perks for helping out.

Ah, didn't know that. Thanks for the heads-up.

I just modified that. Please try again.

Bonjour,
Thanks at all for your responses.
I mixed two topics for the same problem
I first try to add image to explain it and I don't know how to do but now I add pdf file with screenshots.
My real problem: I want to do with MC17 the same thing that MC16 do : automatic cover art installed for DVD.
See in the attached file the different result between MC16 and MC 17 with the same operating.
I hope you will undestand my problem.
JRiver is a good tool to perfect my english !!!!
A+

Well, you can also just download the picture and then rightclick your videofile->coverart->get from file->point it to the file you downloaded :) I cannot understand why you have to do it like you show on the .pdf... It is a little faster in some cases, but I find it more complicated than using the method I posted...
You can also try "get movie/TV information" option... You get the coverart and imdb-info...
