Has anyone else tried to use the Q: drive letter on a new PC that comes with Microsoft Office Starter 2010? The office installer is stored in a "Click-to-Run" virtual drive and it reserves the Q: drive letter. AFAICS, there is no way release the Q: letter without uninstalling the office software.

Can you just install the full package so the installer is no longer needed. If no just chalk it up as another one of Micro$oft's brilliant ideas.
I have come across a few install packages that gave you the option to not need the install cd/dvd in the future and it installs to another
folder or partition but never seen anything do it without an option.
