Title: How to turn off thumbnail creation vor video files?

currently JMC is creating thumbnails of video files in the files folders.
I would like this turned off and keep the folder clean.
I unchecked tree&view   -> thumbnails   create thumbnails for videos
 , however there keep appearing .jpg files in the video folders.
how can i stop it from happening? alternatively  make jriver using a local designated folder only for thumbnail files.

it keeps creating thumbnails for new files, noone knows how to turn it off?
or if not posible to turn off how to make them save too a different directory?

strange there is no reaction whatsoever on this post, only option for me now is to remove all videos from the library and forget about using JMC for videos
