Title: Found a decent change log
Post by: locust on March 14, 2012, 04:03:15 pm
Hey I just found a decent change log dating right back to version 11..

Should I stick it somewhere on the wiki?

It is awesome to go back and look at Alex's old changelogs sometimes.  It has been a wild ride.

I'm just a newbie so I hope this ride has plenty more steam left :)

Using a fast computer, the full history file is too large to edit comfortably in Notepad.

The tortoise wins in the end, right :P

The change history has been very helpful (thanks to those making it a reality).

Off topic, this one of my favorite Change logs (via mirror site):

  postfix.cs.utah.edu/source/official/postfix-2.9.1.HISTORY

You've just gotta appreciate the discipline, dedication, and professionalism.

That's what you get for opening something in... shudder... Notepad.

My reaction any time I ever see a text file open in Notepad is to think: "What is this crap?  Did something happen to my Notepad++ file associations?"

Or, you know, I grimace if I'm on someone else's machine.

I've always wondered why notepad struggles when it is one of the more basic programs you can get. In my mind that should have made it one of the faster ones.
