Title: (Some) Cover Art Missing on Client
Post by: bunglemebaby on March 17, 2012, 12:21:21 pm
When viewing my served library via a client about half or more of the cover art is missing from the views. It happens on multiple clients. All of the cover art is displayed on the server/HTPC when viewed locally. Also, the client will display the cover art in the Playing Now view. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Bump.
I will add that I've tried reloading the served library from the client and doing all the normal rebooting type stuff.

Have you restarted the MC Server? I've had similar problems and it usually turns out the server has some sort of issue.

Yes, a few times. Is there anything besides a normal system reboot when restarting the server? Something like a "republish database"?

I'm not aware of a republish option, other than to stop JRiver and restart it.

That's really strange that you can see things in Playing Now but not other views. Can you see thumbnails in other views?

My Media Center vocabulary might be coming up short here. What is the difference between a cover art image and a thumbnail?

Also, just to make sure we're clear it's not in the playing now

list
that I can see the cover art, just in the Display View or Cover View style Playing Now option.
