Title: When a skin requires Windows Aero, a warning is shown at skin load time

I use a batch file to launch MC from my logitech one remote control. Possibly because of having VNC loaded, MC regularly tells me that the skin requires aero which is not available. When I click ok to clear the dialogue box, the skin appears to load and MC works just fine, certainly for my needs which are for audio playback only.
However this dialogue box means that I can't cleanly and reliably launch MC from the sofa and have to keep getting up to click "OK".
Is there any way to disable the aero check or could I log this as a small feature request please.

Just pick a skin that doesn't require Aero.

'Noire' is the default, and does not require Aero.

I get the same error with Noire as well.

[edit]: btw, I launch MC in theatre mode

Make sure you're using 'Noire', not 'Noire Glass'.

yep, noire, I do not have "noire glass" or am I mis-understanding?

From the main program menu, select View > Skins > Noire.

that did it. thank you.

now just to work out if I can force aero on using my autoit scipt and "net start UXSMS". then I can revert back to the prettier skins.
