Title: Feature request (or workaround?) - player/there based on last program run?

I use the player on my laptop to control the media server on my HTPC.

Whenever you close and re-open the program, playing goes to player instead of THERE. I like to keep my file tree open but of course when you click back to THERE it will collaps. Does this make sense? What I think would be good is if the player remembered/defaulted to play to the last device or a way to set the output without collapsing trees?

Also another nice feature would be to have a graceful handling of lost network connection to server. If the period is short it is fine but in my scenario I almost daily find myself grabbing my laptop for work without closing MC and then I end up having to endtask MC when I realize I left it open.
