Title: Embed metadata in FLAC file

I'm new to MC, and perhaps I'm just missing where the option for this is: I understand that MC saves metadata in its database, but I would also like the basic info (artist, title, etc) stored in the flac file so that I can use the flac on other players and platforms. However, it doesn't seem to do this, or if it does, in a way that the other players and meta data editors don't see.

Is there an option for this?

As far as I know MC always store the tags in the audio file including FLAC.
What you can try
-   Select an Album
-   Tools > Library tools > Update Tags from Library

How do you have established that MC doesn’t write tags?

Be sure Edit > Update Tags When File Info Changes is enabled too.
