Title: Salon Son et Image, Montreal

I spent the weekend in Montreal, but I didn't see much but the hotel.  I attended an audiophile show called "Salon Son et Image".

It's a bigger show than I expected. It's in its 25th year. There were about 90 exhibitors.

There is a picture of Steve Silberman from Audioquest. He's seated, giving me a peace sign.

There is also a picture of Gordon Rankin of Wavelength Audio. He's standing with his wife, Kelly.
 
Gordon and Steve gave the Mac seminar on digital media. I did the Windows seminar.

Jim, I feel terrible to think you were in town and I didn't get to buy you a drink! Next time, let me know you're coming to Mtl, and I'll do my best to drop by and say hi. I know you didn't have much time except work, and I had a funeral this weekend too. But next time...

Ohhhhh... A picture of the baby MBL speakers and big amps.  I hope you got to hear them.

And nice napkin drawings on the powerpoint slides.  Visio can't do that.  :)

Was anyone at the show using JRiver in their demo setup?

I saw five or six vendors using it.
