Sometimes MC just blows me away!  So I wanted to share this. I have a few folders which have for example pitchfork top 200 albums of 2000's.  I have been trying to work out a way to organize them in the tree such that they are in order and also seperate from the rest of my albums if need be.  The format for the folders is usually 001 album name 002 albums name and so on.  I just realized that I could make a new field for each of these groups and with basically one click I could populate that new field by using fill properties from file name.

Just incredible from an organizational and workflow perspective.

... and you can make a view that can do that same even w/out the extra fields.  Intrigued?

Would be happy to look into it, but I always like to add the fields just in case I need to reimport everything.
