Title: MC 17 Breaks Windows 7 Media Center TV Skip and Replay [Solved]
Post by: SteveV on April 04, 2012, 02:55:27 pm
Hi Guys,

Not sure if this has been reported before but on my Windows 7 x64 box with MC 17.0.99, setting MC Startup options set to "Run on Windows startup: Media Server (allows media sharing, television recording etc)" breaks Windows 7 Media Center TV "Skip" and "Replay" functionality.  Killing the "Media Center 17.exe *32" process fixes the problem as does setting the MC Startup options to "Nothing".

Aside from that Media Center 17 rocks!

I assume your talking about using the remote control for WMC?  I had a similar issue with the STOP button.  Here's how i fixed it:

In MC, go into Options/ General/ Advanced / Media Key mode and set it to "app commands"

Hopefully that works for you.
