Title: append new genre to multiple tracks with different genres

I've started playing with using genre as a list field. I have several compilations and soundtracks that have different genre music in them. I have tagged each track in these with it's appropriate genre. What I'd like to do is add a "Soundtrack" or "Compilation" to these fields keeping the original genre ( Rock; Soundtrack) or ( Rap; Soundtrack). When I select say an entire soundtrack it shows the tag as [varies], obviously. I tried editing this field leaving the [varies] and just adding ;Soundtrack to this. This didn't work as each individual tag changed to [varies]; Soundtrack, wiping out the original tag and replacing it with [varies].

Any way around this?

Tag with:

  =[Genre]; NewTag

edit: I should note, you can place NewTag at the beginning of the list too, so that it will be the primary genre:

  =NewTag; [Genre]

Thanks MrC. So simple I should have figured that out. Guess MC and Crown Royal don't together very well. Kids... don't drink and tag.

Are there many problems of using multiple genres or artists in other players or portable devices?
