Title: Restore?

I have bought MC yesterday and introduced the Activation Key I receieved. When I rebooted my PC however I was asked to "restore" my license (why?) and now only "8 restores" are left. What did I do wrong?

PS I have seen there is now un upgrade. Does this mean I will loose still another "restore possibility"?

You have to actually activate the key that are given to you. After that you should not be asked again. Reboot or not. The restores left (8 in your case), are reset each year I think. So you should not have a problem with that. AND in addition, the key will work for 30 days. So you can activate several machines in that time.

You can download and install any new build of MC17 without charge and without relicensing.

Make sure the desktop icon you're running isn't the license itself.
