Title: DSD songs Not Shown in Audio Library [Solved]
Post by: mtan002 on April 16, 2012, 07:38:58 am
Hi
I have DSD format files in my music library. But they are not displayed as a playable item in the library. How can I do so?

Regards

M Tan

Could you explain what you mean by "but they are not displayed as a playable item in the library"?

DSD files should appear under Audio like any other files imported files.

Thanks.

They should but they don't under the Audio/File tree. They all have .dff extension.

This is what I meant:

2 views attached.

JRiver is not showing the full content of DSD folder.

That means the files aren't imported.

Try dragging-and-dropping them into Playing Now.  Do they show up when you do that?

Still no sign of the files even though JRiver played them in Playing Now.

Somehow JRiver only shows files it recognised like the flac files in the DSD folder but ignore all the rest (.dff)

Really strange!  ?

If they're in Playing Now, you can right-click and Import.

Pay special attention to the Artist and Album values, because they could be tagged differently and so appearing someplace unexpected in your library.

Thanks Matt. The Import method is working.
