Title: Burning With MJ
Post by: JaredH on May 04, 2002, 02:24:48 pm
Is there any kind of buffer underrun protection options for the burning feature in MJ8?? I know that when i burn on 16 speed with MJ8 i get skips and glitches in the encoding, but when i use Nero i get perfection. I want to figure all of these little issues out so i can use MJ8 for everything. It really is a pain to have to use one program for playing, one for burning, one for ripping, and one for converting. So far ive Got it down to using MJ8 for ripping, encoding, and playing. And id like to be able to get rid of nero and use MJ8 for burning as well....so please any suggestions as far as being able to burn at high speeds on MJ8 without the skips and spaces in the encoding??

MJ enables buffer under-run protection on all drives that support it. Try turning off "direct mp3 decoding" in the cd writer options and see if that helps. What kind of cdr drive do you have, and are you using the "generic driver"? Also, please post your system information.
