Title: Year tag on displayed using flac files

I've created 100's of flac files (albums) from cd's using dpoweramp. When I import the albums into mc17, about 40% of the albums do not have the year tag, so I cannot sort albums by year. When I check the file's tags in windows xp file property, the year tag is there. Has anyone had a similar issue.

Could you send a sample file to matt at jriver dot com?

It's probably some subtle detail in how the tag is saved, and should be an easy fix if we have a file (assuming the tag really has the year).

I imported your flac file and it came in fine with the correct date in Media Center - "9/16/2008".  Try doing "Library Tools / Update library from tags" in Media Center and see if the data comes in Ok.
