Title: How do I queue youtube videos in playing now?
Post by: fooze on May 01, 2012, 12:39:10 am
Hope this is the right place for this.

I can't seem to figure out an easy way to do this. I'd like to browse Youtube and have the videos appear in my playing now section. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Matt.

Did you try adding them to a playlist?

Thanks for the quick reply!

I can add a link to my library or download to the library, but then I have to go to the library and drag the video over to playing now. I'm looking for "Add a link to my library and enqueue in Playing Now". This is so I can have people over and not have to teach them too much about JRiver if they want to put a song on and I'm not nearby.

Cheers,

Matt.

Any answer to this?

Also, clicking "Play this in the player" kills my entire playing now list. I find that behaviour pretty annoying. Is there a way around this?

I'm looking for "Add a link to my library and enqueue in Playing Now".

Add the URL to the library, then right-click and select the desired Play option.

Thanks rick.ca. This works, but for each video I have to add it to the library, go find it in the library and add it to the playing now list. I'm looking for a way to be browsing youtube, click a link and go "enqueue in playing now" without killing the entire list.

It's not so bad if you use a split view, with Youtube in one and a view restricted to Youtube URL's ([Filename] starting with 'http' and containing 'youtube') in the other. Click on the Youtube link, refresh, right-click the item in the split and Add to Playing Now. For many, just keep clicking links until done, refresh and send them all to Playing Now. That's got to be easier than any alternative (which doesn't exist anyway).

Are there any macro/automation things in MC that could automate this?
