Title: this file is not a valid license

i have version 7 license. I have downloaded the latest v8.0.265. If i right click on MP3 files in explorer and select play they queue up and play. If I double click to auto play i get two message boxes one obviously in the previous beta UI style and one in the new UI style both saying "this file is not a valid license"
any ideas?

Trying to play a WMA file that was encrypted on another PC?  "personal security" settings in Real and WMP affect this.
