The TVDB is starting to use years as season numbers for documentaries. From the TVDB site & forum rules: http://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4076 (http://forums.thetvdb.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4076)
"We prefer if you make season numbers the year in which documentary was aired. (i.e. If the show aired in 2008, it would belong in Season 2008)."
Carnac doesn't seem to know how to handle these.
For example: The National Geographic series broadcast in the US as "Naked Science" has been renamed and merged with the series as broadcast in the UK: "Earth Investigated".
When I import the file named "Earth Investigated-S2005E11-Loch Ness.mpg", Carnac doesn't recognize the series name, season, or episode number. When I manually fill those fields, it doesn't find the series in the TVDB.
Can the Carnac logic be adjusted to handle naming seasons by years?
Thanks,
Ed

We'll try to do this soon.
If it doesn't happen in two weeks, please bump this thread.

That's great Matt. Hopefully you'll be able to facilitate season lookup (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=72024.0) if it's a year as well :)

You can close this topic. This was fixed in v17.0.155.
