Hi - can someone tell me how I can set MC17 to start a movie in full screen when the file is clicked? TIA
Chris.

If you open a file from a Windows Explorer, it always opens in windowed Display View.
JohnT said this once when I asked about it:
That's by design, with the idea that it's convenient to use Windows explorer to quickly survey the media on your disk without the need to go full screen each time you double click something.

I don't think this is necessarily true any more. I believe there is a setting somewhere that allows you to uncheck this option. I often launch videos form Windows and they go straight to fullscreen.

In options/general there is a setting for "jump to windowed mode when playback is started externally"
