Title: Syncing Galaxy S2 with MC14 (Playlist issue)
Post by: risingdamp on May 18, 2012, 03:32:28 pm
MC14 seems to sync OK to the 32GB card in my S2 but I'm having trouble with the playlists.  The only playlists I can see are .PLA files in the Playlists Folder and these are recognised ok by the stock media player (albeit with a little bug but that's another story).  I was hoping to use a different android media player such as Poweramp, Winamp etc. but I think these only support m3u files.  Is there any way I can get MC to put m3u files on the S2 instead of PLA?

The only solution I could find was to remove the SD card from the phone, put it in my laptop and add it to MC as a new device (in a specific folder on the SD card).  Then I synced to that folder with m3u playlists in it.  Then I used Poweramp on my Android, which does correctly recognise and play the playlists.

Its a bit of a pain taking the SD card out each time but I won't sync that often so can live with it.
