Title: Problems playing 24/96 FLACs (newbie question)

I can't get MC 17 play these files correctly in WASAPI - event style mode with an external DAC (M2Tech Young).

Win7/32, plays 16/44.1 just fine.  But with 24/96 the indicator does not turn blue and it says it is not getting all the bit depth. 

Tried to toggle '24 bit in a 32 bit package' switch, makes no difference.

What am I missing here?

Had DSP Studio at 16 bits!
