Hi there,
My plan today is to go out and to buy an IPAD for my wife and I want her to be able to control JRiver; to view media on the IPAD and to push media via zones.
Also, are there any other Ipad apps for JRiver?
I am trying to get an idea of which IPAD app to purchase My River or JRemote. They both seems to be quite good.
I would love to get a review of both from those who have tested out both regarding the pros and cons of each app.
Anyone willing provide a review?
Dave

You better buy both apps and decide yourself which one to use mostly.

You might also consider an Android tablet like the Samsung Galaxy Tab (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=66117.0).

Thanks for the replies
Android - My wife wants an IPAD so that is not an option.
PeeBee - while I can purchase both apps, my questions was to those who have tested both to provide an opinion as to which one they like better and why. Ultimately, I will have to make my own decision. It seems like both apps are quite well developed and will do what I need... but it is always helpful to have an opinion from those who have tried both.

Agree that the Galaxy Tabs are very nice but the king of the hill IMHO is the Asus Transformer Infinty (http://eee.asus.com/eeepad/transformer-infinity/features/).

I own JRemote and both versions of My River (iPad and iPhone). I do like JRemote much more and tend to use it as a remote far more often.
BUT, for now, MY River can stream to the device while JRemote cant. JRemote is implementing this in the next build.
Both a very well supported and both will basically have the same functionality.
JRemote is a bit faster and slicker looking. I would buy JREmote.
BUT, it cant hurt to buy both. Both devs deserve a few bucks.

Unfortunately, the Infinity doesn't exist yet. And ASUS says that when it does, it'll exist in limited quantities. Though, generally, I agree. If I was going to get an Android Tablet, and I'm not, but if I was... It'd be the Asus Transformer Prime.

That didn't take long. JRemote now does this.

So good huh? JRemote is worth every penny.

How do I stream to my iPad.
Sorry if I missed this comment before.
