I picked up a Samsung 4.0 player today after a Rockbox enabled player I had for years died. There is, however, one function missing that both Rockbox and MC offer. They can both pick a random album from the library to play.
Being occasionally indecisive and lazy when picking music I would love to find an Android music player that can pick a random album to play. I do like to listen to albums, in their entirety, so just playing all tracks and hitting shuffle won't do it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

You could use Gizmo to stream an MC playlist that picks a random album.
You could also try the GoneMad Music Player (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gonemad.gmmp&hl=en) (the link is to the free 14 day trial).
In Preferences > Playlist > On Playlist Completion, choose Play Random Album.

If you are still looking, I wrote a little app which does what you want.
Please leave feedback :)
In Google Play, search for random album playlist creator
